The sturdy lantern stick has a soft curve that enables the enthusiastic children to hold their beautiful lanterns up. This is because the weight of the lantern does not pull the child's hand down, as is often the case with other straight rods.
From our own experience with our three children on countless lantern parades, we are convinced that real candles should light up the little miracles.
